Bring an existing codebase or start fresh, the choice is entirely yours! We want to help you level up your project without the pressure of building from scratch.

Simply let TestSprite handle the heavy lifting of testing: we'll help you uncover the hidden bugs, you squash them, and together we'll get your dream project ready to ship.

## Four Steps to Ship & Win.

##### Build Your Project

Write code. Build an app, API, tool, or anything you want. Solo or team — no limits.

01

##### Test with TestSprite

Use [TestSprite MCP](/content/solutions/mcp/index.html) to auto-generate test cases. The AI agent handles UI, API, and E2E testing.

02

##### Push to GitHub

Commit your project to a public repository containing a `testsprite_tests/` subfolder, a README, and an optional demo video.

03

##### Submit on Discord

Drop your GitHub link in **#hackathon-submissions** and prepare to WIN!

04

### Required project structure

```plaintext
├── src/
│   └── your-code-here
├── testsprite_tests/  ← AI-generated test cases go here
├── README.md  ← Required: explain what you built
└── demo.mp4  ← Bonus: include a demo video
```

## The Guardrails.

Participants must use [TestSprite MCP](/content/solutions/mcp/index.html) — not just installed. Two rounds of testing are mandatory.

###### Verified Repos

A testsprite_tests/ subfolder must exist in your GitHub repository containing all generated test cases.

###### Public Access

Your GitHub repository must be set to **Public** so judges can access it;

###### Clear Description

A short description or README is strictly mandatory. Explain what you built and why. Make us understand your project in 30 seconds.

###### Visual Proof

Optional

Demo videos are optional but highly encouraged. Projects with a demo will rank higher.

###### New or Existing Project

You don't have to start from zero unless you want to! Bring whatever you're working on, and let's focus on catching bugs and improving your code.

## How to Submit & Winner Contact.

###### Submit via Discord

Post your public GitHub repository link in the [**#hackathon-s02-submission**](https://discord.com/invite/GXWFjCe4an) channel on Discord. Only submissions posted here count — Twitter or other channels won't be accepted.

###### Deadline: April 17th, 2026 11:59 PM PST

All submissions must be posted before the deadline. Late submissions **will not** be reviewed. Make sure your repo is public and your README is complete before submitting.

###### Winners Contacted via Discord DM

All winners will be contacted directly through Discord DM. **Make sure your Discord DMs are open and check your messages constantly** after the submission deadline. We won't chase — if we can't reach you, the prize moves to the next runner-up.
